I was born in Kathmandu, Nepal and moved to the US when I was 7 years old. Much of my identify has been shaped by those two things. My family moved around a lot when we first moved to the US but I spent my middle and high school years in Northern Virginia and returned there after grad school. In undergrad, I double majored in Professional Communications (whatever that means) and International Studies and then I went on to get my MBA. I haven't felt fulfilled by any job I've ever had so I'm thrilled and relieved that we have been fortunate enough to make this dream of mine come true. Peter doesn't know it yet, but I'm never going back to work. ;)
I get a lot of joy from travel (no surprises there!), hanging out with close friends and family, reading, playing games, dancing, eating and sleeping. It's the little things in life.

I grew up mostly in West Virginia, dabbled in music, martial arts, and gymnastics before settling on going to school to be a physical therapist. I worked in travel PT for a number of years, then specialized in orthopedics after moving to the DC area. The thing I like best about my job is being able to help people understand their own bodies. I really think if we all had better literacy around movement, then we could do a lot to prevent long-term illness and disability. So if anyone has any questions or interest around that, feel free to reach out!
Outside of that, I get a lot of joy from making music. My main instruments are violin and bass guitar, but on this trip I’ll just be using an Akai MPK Mini Mk III keyboard. Gotta stay compact! Time permitting, I’ll be making some hot new geographically inspired tracks for you guys to enjoy along the way.
